Would you like to learn how to make candles? Don't be afraid, with the right help, it really isn't that hard. Let our in-house experts teach you how.

We offer an excellent beginner class that will show you how to make your own candles. This is a 4 hour course where you will learn about the different waxes and needed supplies to get started. We will show you how to formulate your waxes, talk about the different wicks available and cover the use of dyes and fragrances. All needed notes and class information will be provided in an easy to use pamphlet. In the class, you will make 4 candles which you will get to take home. You'll make:

1 - 5-oz soy candle (natural candle)
2 - 2-oz blended wax candle
3 - Decorative Hurricane candle
4 - Picture candle

After completing this class, you will have the confidence to go home and make candles.

The beginner class is now being offered for $20 per student to those who sign up in advance or $30 per student for those who pay the day of the class. As an added bonus, students will receive discounts the day of the class on candle making equipment and candle making supplies to help them start their new hobby / business.

You can sign up calling 800-929-7867. Remember, first come, first served. Class size is limited to 20 students and many times classes fill up fast. Please note, refunds for prepaid students must be requested 48 hours before the class begins. (We prepare the waxes and set-up the work area the day before so we must have prior warning if you can not make it to the class.)

The beginner class is offered the first Saturday of the month. (January & July classes are usually the 2nd Saturday depending on when New Years & 4th of July falls on the calendar)

We ask that you bring eyewear protection (goggles or glasses) and a bottle of water, we will supply the rest.

Coming in 2010, Class #2, The Next Level. We will have a class for those who wish to learn more in-depth information about additives and advanced candle making techniques.
