I just want to know about a "good" wax and "bad" wax for candle making ?

Beeswax is a really good wax for candlemaking. Candles made from beeswax are held in high regard because beeswax is generally more expensive, it is revered as being natural, and it gives off a pleasant aroma. Turtle Wax (R) for polishing your car, would be a very bad wax for candlemaking. Actually, it's carnuba wax, which does not burn very well but is good for making polishes and cosmetics. Paraffin wax is the most common wax used for candlemaking. It is the least expensive and most abundant wax available. Paraffin wax comes in a variety of melt points and can easily be formulated to make specific types of candles. The quality of wax, whether it is paraffin or beeswax, depends largely on where it comes from and how it was processed. Some sources may provide a substandard bulk product that may not have been fully refined while other sources will produce special blends and formulations that make excellent candles.
