(1386 views) - A local television news station put out a warning recently about some candles (primarily manufactured in foreign countries) putting out toxic chemicals (mercury and lead) when burned. The news station suggested purchasing candles produced in the US to limit the possibility of obtaining a candle with toxic fumes. But they also recommended checking with the manufacturer before burning the candle. Can you please tell me if any of the candles produced by General Wax Company produce a burn off of lead or mercury (or other harmful substances)?
