General Wax and Candle Company has the right to suspend or terminate any member account and refuse any and all current or future use of this service, for violation of these terms. Such termination will result in the deactivation or deletion of the member account or access to the member account, and the forfeiture and relinquishment of all content in your account. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time and to refund your payment and terminate any member account at our discretion.

Use of membership benefits, such as product access, updates, support, training, and other benefits of membership are provided to paid members in good standing only. You are solely responsible for updating your information, including contact names, emails, and PayPal information in a timely manner. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of accounts and passwords. You are responsible for all content posted and activity that occurs under your account. Members MAY NOT use our service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, nor violate any laws in your jurisdiction.

We estimate transit time by business days however actual results may vary. Since we do not ship on Saturdays or Sundays, the actual delivery date may be different than the estimated transit time.

GENERAL SHIPPING POLICY


Our shipping charges are based on weight and/or dimensions and distance shipped.

To preview the shipping charges, enter the items you want to order into your shopping cart.  When in the shopping cart, click on “Change address” in the Shipping section located near the bottom of the shopping cart page.  Enter your Country, State, City, and Zip Code.

Then click on the Update button.

The totals are not a promise or guarantee for the stated shipping amounts.  If costs are off, we will call you with an accurate shipping charge to get your consent.

Generalwax.com offers Ground, 3 Day, 2 Day, and Overnight/Next Day shipping to all orders placed within the United States (excluding Puerto Rico).

DELIVERY & LEAD TIME


An order leaving General Wax on a Friday for Los Angeles will not arrive until Monday, even though it has a one-day transit time.

An order leaving General Wax on a Monday for Miami will not arrive until the next Monday, even though the transit time is five days.

Barring exceptions, orders are usually shipped Monday through Friday around 4:30 p.m. PST. A one-day transit time is 24 hours from the time of the shipment (excluding Saturdays and Sundays). Please note that transit time does not include processing time.

FREE SHIPPING INFORMATION


A purchase of $49. qualifies for free ground shipping to the lower 48 states on generalwax.com. Alaska, Hawaii, and United States territories are excluded.

Free shipping is unavailable on candlemakingsupplies.net.

EXPRESS SHIPPING (OVERNIGHT/NEXT DAY, 2 DAY, 3 DAY)


These orders are given top priority. Express orders for items that are in stock are usually shipped within 24 hours, excluding weekends. Barring exceptions, these orders ship out Monday through Friday at around 2:30 PM PST.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING POLICY


Shipping outside of the United States is unavailable.

GROUND SHIPPING


Estimated processing time - within 24 to 48 hours, excluding weekends and holidays based on product availability. Barring exceptions (Christmas), these orders ship out Monday through Friday at around 4:30 pm PST.

RETURN POLICY


We are committed to quality customer service and a pleasant shopping experience. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. However, we do realize that there will be occasions when you are dissatisfied with your purchase and we are here to help.
We will be happy to accept your returned product within 30 days from the date of delivery with:

- The original invoice accompanies the merchandise when it is returned.

- The merchandise is in new, unused condition and contains all of the original product packaging, labels, and accessories as originally provided at the time of purchase.

- You have called our customer service representatives and they have provided you with a return authorization number. Our customer service representatives can be contacted at 1-800-WAX-STOR (929-7867) or via email requesting a return authorization number here.

Once you have received your authorization number, print the Return Shipping Label and affix it to the product for return.

Please note: You are responsible for return shipping costs and we must receive the product in good order as outlined above. We will not accept damaged products for return.

Please allow two to four weeks for the complete processing of your return. Once we receive your returned items, it will take approximately 2 weeks to receive your refund. We will refund the merchandise costs excluding shipping charges based on how the purchase was made.

Credit card purchases will be credited to your credit card account. Checks of any kind will be refunded with a General Wax company check.

GIFT RETURNS


Gift returns are credited to the original buyer and not to the gift recipient.

DELIVERY EXCEPTIONS & DAMAGED GOODS


At General Wax, we work diligently to provide quality products at competitive pricing that will arrive at their destination in new condition and that your order will be complete. If, however, you receive merchandise that has been damaged or shortage to your order, we will accept a claim up to 15 days from the date of delivery. We will not consider claims made beyond the 15 day grace period.

General Wax will, at its sole discretion, and depending on the circumstances either provide a credit or replacement product. In most cases where the products have been short-shipped, we will ship the balance of the order within two days. If the original order was shipped ground, unless the customer wishes to pay for overnight shipping, the follow-on shipment will be shipped by the same method as the original shipment. For example, if an order was short-shipped FedEx ground, the completing order will also be shipped to FedEx ground.

To make a claim, call (800) WAX-STOR (929-7867) or email [email protected] and request a return authorization number. Once you have received a claim number, print the Return Shipping Label and complete it with the claim number you received

If we determine that we are to issue a credit that credit will be issued in the same form, and to the same person or account used for the original purchase.

If appropriate, we will issue a credit including the freight costs.
