Transit Time Map (for FedEx Shipping)

This map displays estimated transit times for orders shipped from

The map are for estimation purposes only. They are not a promise or guarantee for the stated transit times. Actual results may vary according to FedEx workload.

FedEx estimates transit time by business days. Since FedEx does not ship on Saturdays or Sundays, the actual delivery date may be different than the estimated transit time.

For example:

An order leaving General Wax on a Friday for Los Angeles will not arrive until Monday, even though it has a one day transit time.

An order leaving General Wax on a Monday for Miami will not arrive until the next Monday, even though the transit time is five days.

Barring exceptions, orders are usually shipped Monday through Friday around 4:30 p.m. PST. A one day transit time is 24 hours from the time of the shipment (excluding Saturdays and Sundays).

General Shipping Policy:

Our shipping charges are based on standard FedEx, which are based on package weight, size, and distance shipped. To preview the shipping charges, enter the items you want to order into your shopping cart. When you're done, click on "save changes, go to check out." Enter your zip code, then click on "save changes, show new total." This will display all available shipping costs.

Generalwax.com offers FedEx Ground, FedEx 3 Day, FedEx 2 Day, and FedEx Overnight/Next Day shipping to all of our customers who place orders to be shipped to one of the 50 contiguous United States.

To help keep shipping costs as low as possible, we use FedEx Hundredweight shipping for orders over 100 lbs. for 2 Day and Overnight/Next Dayshipping, and over 200 lbs. For Ground and 3 Day. This reduced shipping rate is calculated automatically when an order reaches the appropriate weight.

We also ship to A.P.O. addresses via US Priority Mail only. If you choose Priority Mail, unfortunately, there is no way to track the order in transit.

Delivery and Lead Time:

Since FedEx does not ship on Saturdays or Sundays (even for express shipping), the actual delivery date may differ from the estimated transit time. For example: An Overnight/NexDay order, leaving our warehouse on a Friday for New York, will not arrive until Monday, even though it has a one day transit time.

Ground shipping:

Orders for items that are in stock are usually shipped within 24 to 48 hours, excluding weekends. Barring exceptions, these orders ship out Monday through Friday at around 4:30 pm PST. If an order is placed before 12 PM PST, the order may ship out that same day. Click here for a Ground shipping transit time map.

Express shipping (Overnight/Next Day, 2 Day, 3 Day):

These orders are given top priority. Express orders for items that are in stock are usually shipped within 24 hours, excluding weekends. Barring exceptions, these orders ship out Monday through Friday at around 2:30 PM PST. If an express order is placed before 12 PM PST, it will usually ship out that same day.
